Description

A sophisticated balance of geometry and organic form. The composition unfolds through overlapping planes. Translucent layers create a sense of depth. Muted earth tones dominate the background. Soft beiges blend into warm ochres. A sudden contrast emerges in the center. A dark rectangular slab anchors the scene. Atop this surface sit a red apple and two golden pears. The fruit provides a vivid focal point. Their curved silhouettes break the rigidity of the surrounding lines. Subtle textures mimic the feel of aged paper. Luminous light filters through the layered shapes. This artwork explores the intersection of still life and abstraction. It invites a slow contemplation of volume and space. The painting captures a quiet harmony between mathematical precision and natural beauty. A delicate play of transparency defines the atmospheric quality. Sharp edges meet soft gradients. The gaze is drawn toward the central cluster of fruit resting on a white plinth.

Presentation

I got inspired by a nice view, music, a book, a dance, a production, a scenography, a photography, a model. As being a positive person, I search the beautiful in everything.

Usually the paintings come ready into my head. I just have to catch them and paint them over the canvas. Sometimes in the work process they change and drift away from the initial goal. That is why I cannot repeat the same painting twice.of the cheap effects.

In the oil paintings, I prefer to work in thin layers, because like that it is more technical and the pictorial layer is brighter and does not crack after years. That I learned while watching the old masters in the museum.

If I have to determine by myself the style in which I work, then it is contemporary personal realism.

1962 - Born on February 10, 1962. in Berkovitsa, Bulgaria

1981 - Graduated from the National High School of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria.

1989 - defended his diploma work at the National Fine Arts Academy in Sofia, majoring in painting

Works mainly painting, small plastic, watercolor and drawing.

His works have been exhibited in the National Gallery, public and private collections in Bulgaria and abroad.
