Description
Jean Jullien creates a postcard vision of summer on the French coast.
La Grière depicts a beach landscape dotted with bodies clad in bikinis, buckets, and sandals. A fascination with observation is at the heart of Jullien's work, which uses art to create a visual commentary on the everyday. Simplicity is his philosophy and practice. Travels to the west coast of France inspire the title and content of the print, where Jullien often makes sketches of life on the beach. In an environment where everything is shown, Jullien's featureless figures remain anonymous.
Aqueous inkjet print on 300gsm 100% cotton Somerset Enhanced Satin paper.
