Description
Hand embellished serigraph on canvas. Hand signed lower front by Linda Le Kinff. Hand numbered 36/90 on verso.
About the Artist: Born in Paris in 1949, from French parents on one side and Brazilian on the other (to which she attributes her exotic imagination), Le Kinff was trained in the classics, studying ancient techniques for twelve years in Italy where she became quite accomplished at painting, drawing, the graphic arts and the secrets of the Old Masters: tempera, egg painting on wood, the use of gold leaf as taught in Florence and Livomo. After her formal education, she surrounded herself with artists, painters and sculptors and the passion generated by this group changed, she maintains, the direction of her destiny, though she somehow always knew she would end up an artist.
Presentation
Linda Le Kinff was born in Paris from French and Brazilian Parents. She started her career as a painter at the age of 20. In the 1970's she traveled to India, Tibet, Mexico and Italy. She lived and worked in Italy for twelve years learning ancient techniques" tempera, egg painting and the gold leaf method taught by masters in Florence and Livorno.
