Description
This artwork depicts a primate entirely covered in brand patterns, skin and identity fused into a surface of advertising. The body is no longer a support for the sign; it is the sign itself. The glasses display “Supreme" like a surgical headband: vision is replaced by branding. No more gaze, only a brand peering through it.
The background reveals the mental infrastructure. Repeated, interchangeable, pixelated avatars, born from a game-like imagination, execute loops without purpose. Repetition replaces experience. The individual becomes a skin, a cosmetic variation within a closed environment.
The composition articulates a simple equation:
merchandise → identity → perception → reality.
The central subject does not exist. It is entirely colonized.
Luxury no longer distinguishes; it covers over.
Streetwear no longer subverts; it standardizes.
The brand is not added to the body. It replaces it.
What remains: a functional organism for the circulation of signs, perfectly compatible with a world where value is no longer produced, but displayed.
