Description
This dynamic artwork features a classic black-and-white character holding a spray can, distinguished by its recognizable cartoon style. Around him, a vibrant burst of color erupts, composed of graffiti and bold abstract forms. The contrast between the monochrome figure and the explosion of vivid hues accentuates the energy and creativity. The paint splatters and drips convey a sense of spontaneity and movement, illustrating the fusion of street art and pop art. The dark background highlights the bright palette, emphasizing the playful and subversive nature of the subject. This juxtaposition creates a captivating visual tension, inviting the viewer to explore every intricate detail and appreciate the fusion of artistic styles and eras.
Presentation
Seaty is an artist born in 1983 in the South of France. He was part of the Toulouse graffiti scene in the early 2000's where he started writing tags on walls when he was still a child.
Starting 2008, he decided to give a new direction to his graffiti works and started to paint on canvas, developping his technique, without ever taking drawing or painting classes. His work evolved but the codes of urban culture are still there. Seaty wants to share with the viewers his vision of urban art, his emotions and experiences.
Today, after a 15-year artistic career, having built his street art practice, Seaty continues to represent the movement with passion and creativity.
