Description
A singular scene unfolds in this drawing. A parade of anthropomorphic animals traverses the space with a theatrical gait. A dog in a red dress opens the procession, followed by various and fantastic animal figures. A lion and a leopard mingle with more discreet creatures. The postures are exaggerated. The movement is read from left to right, creating a narrative dynamic.
The line is precise. The color palette remains sober, punctuated by touches of bright red that draw the eye. The neutral background accentuates the relief of the silhouettes and their sculptural aspect. The artist plays with proportions and attitudes to establish a climate of controlled absurdity.
The entire is presented under a white mat and a sober black frame. This classic highlighting underscores the finesse of the drawing and the clarity of the composition. The signature appears discreetly at the bottom of the sheet. This piece stands out for its dreamlike approach and its rigorous technical execution.
