In 2007, Cornelius published the graphic novel La Vénéneuse aux Deux Éperons, which was to be one of the winners of the Competition for the most beautiful French books. His books have been published in Japan, the USA, Spain, Italy, Brazil.
It was at the Comédie de Caen that Blanquet got involved in performing arts. He participates in the creation of plays and is involved in the production, the scenography, the creation of stage costumes and the writing. In 2010, the play How did I fit in there? is presented at the Avignon festival, at the Palais de Chaillot, at the Korean National Theater in Seoul and in several cities in Japan.
