Description
Our limited edition pigment prints on aluminium are a result of the close collaboration between the artist. Françoise Nielly and Villa del Arte Galleries and are signed and certified by the artist and the gallery. Other sizes available.
This vibrant painting captures two faces in striking proximity, using bold, dynamic brushstrokes and a vivid color palette that electrifies the canvas. The left face is predominantly yellow, with lips painted in deep red, exuding a sense of bold sensuality. The right face is rendered in a spectrum of blues, reds, and purples, with penetrating eyes that convey intensity and intrigue. The interplay of colors creates an abstract yet emotionally resonant composition, highlighting the contrasting expressions of the figures. Each stroke is deliberate, blending chaos with harmony, evoking a sense of movement and emotional depth. The artwork's abstract realism invites viewers to explore the complexities of human connection and individuality, making it a captivating visual experience.
Presentation
Françoise Nielly is a contemporary painter born in Marseille and trained at the Beaux-Arts. Recognized for her powerful and expressive portraits , she redefines the human face through a unique palette knife technique, where color explodes in vivid, contrasting bursts. Her instinctive and energetic approach gives rise to intense, almost musical works, where each brushstroke or knife stroke becomes an emotional vibration.
Françoise Nielly's portraits are direct confrontations with the intensity of life. Her faces, marked, almost scarred, convey a raw and fascinating form of beauty, oscillating between fantasy and reality. In her paintings, colors collide and harmonize to reveal the soul of her subjects, with an almost sonorous intensity. Each work is a testimony to her physical struggle with matter, a fusion of strength, emotion, and light.
Today, Françoise Nielly is internationally recognized as one of the major figures in contemporary figurative art, with an immediately identifiable and deeply emotional style.
