Description
Caroline Montigneaux is a painter, designer and solar sculptor whose works have featured in exhibitions and publications across France. Since the summer of 2022, she has been a permanent resident of the Alphonse Allais museum in Honfleur.
Adopting a cheerful and luminous approach to color and silhouette, she composes playful portraits in Indian ink as well as pop art works, all in her unique universe.
Its iconic and emblematic characters, the Little Girls, symbolize friendship, sharing, joyful moments...
Lulled by the poetry of Saint-Exupéry, Caroline wanted to give him a nice wink through the refined, eyeless face of Little Nanas. " One sees clearly only with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye"
“... His sketches of mischievous, naughty, slightly crazy little girls evoke the representation of femininity and fashion overflowing with energy. His work done in acrylic is full of touches of color, backgrounds tagged with colorful and psychedelic words, surrounded by midnight blue or raven black...".
Discover his magnificent plaster sculpture, painted and varnished, 40 cm high and 6 KG.
