This exquisite work of art, masterfully carved from white marble, captures both the purity and elegance inherent to this ancient material. The oval-shaped and aesthetically refined piece stands as an object of serene and timeless contemplation. Its clean, flowing lines are evidence of the sculptor's skill in transforming the stone into an expression of refined simplicity. The marble, with its natural grey veins, adds a unique dimension to the sculpture, providing visual texture and tonal variation that invite closer observation. The polished surface subtly reflects light, giving the piece an ethereal brilliance that changes with the surrounding lighting. Set on a wooden base, the interplay between materials adds a fascinating contrast: the coldness and solidity of the marble are balanced by the warmth and rusticity of the wood. This combination not only enhances the qualities of each element, but also places the work in a symbolic dialogue between the natural and the worked. Ultimately, this piece is not simply a sculpture, but an invitation to reflect and appreciate the beauty inherent in simplicity. The oval, almost aerodynamic shape suggests movement and fluidity in a solid body, evoking a sense of calm and balance. A work worthy of admiration that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression in any space.
