Description
A delicate balance of strength and fragility. This bronze sculpture captures a celestial figure grounded in reality. The expressive surface is tactile. Rough textures contrast with polished highlights. A singular wing stretches outward. It suggests a moment of pause or a memory of flight. The figure stands poised and contemplative. Her form emerges from a rich, oxidized patina. Deep greens and earthy browns evoke a sense of ancient timelessness. The artist employs a fantastic approach to the human silhouette. The anatomy is stylized. It emphasizes emotional weight over literal representation. A solid granite base provides a stark architectural contrast. The cold grey stone anchors the warmth of the bronze. This interaction creates a tension between the ethereal and the physical. The artwork explores the intersection of the divine and the terrestrial. Every indentation in the metal speaks to a manual process of creation. The piece rests on a polished plinth of natural stone.
