Tropical Touch

With the arrival of the summer, our wanderlust invariably grows. Dreams of flying away to distant lands, basking in the sun on tropical islands and sipping colorful cocktails fill our heads…

Unfortunately, the daily grind forces us abruptly back to reality: work, commuting, shopping, various obligations, etc.

So, to make the pleasure last, we're bringing the beach and the sun to you with tropical inspired decoration.

Like every summer for the past few years, the "urban jungle" style is back in force with tropical motifs (birds of paradise, hibiscus flowers, zebras, etc.), raw wood furniture, candle holders, straw rugs, poufs and other floor cushions... In short, this trend is impossible to escape!

So, how can you really obtain a tropical touch worthy of the most beautiful Brazilian beaches?

From the kitchen to the living room, through to the bedroom, no room is spared. We opt for bright colors (orange, yellow, anise green, turquoise blue ...) and wallpapers with lush patterns. We look for the most cheerful and fresh prints possible.

Of course, no room is complete without its natural wood furniture, of course. We prefer rattan and driftwood. In the bedroom, we like to invest in a bed set with large and wide leaves reminiscent of the Amazon jungle. Don't forget about the curtains in your tropical drive!

For a really successful exotic decoration, you can't do without some exotic decorative objects: leaf-shaped paper trays, vases and colored bowls with parrots or pink flamingos, brass pineapples, a table runner with Hawaiian flowers...

Succulents are another absolute must. Plants and nature in general are at the heart of this trendy style.

However, if the total tropical look is not really to your taste and you prefer an original but more refined and minimalist decoration, small touches will be enough to brighten up your interior decoration. Artwork can really help here.

Tropical landscapes have always inspired artists. Neither the great masters of painting (Paul Gauguin, Henri Matisse...) or the young emerging artists of today have been able to ignore the allure of the tropics. Dress your walls with their modern paintings straight from the islands to create an instant change of scenery. Small tribal statuettes and sculptures of animals in bright colors can also give an effortless exotic ambience to your house.

So whether you're looking for art for your bedroom, living room, dining room or bathroom, check out our selection of unique pieces that will perfectly complement your exotic decoration. With modern paintings and matching decor, you'll definitely be escaping the dreary atmosphere of the city for the most beautiful landscapes.

A final top tip!  To add a tropical touch to any interior, choose photos of palm trees or deserted beaches signed by great photographers of the 20th and 21st century, for example Alain Longeaud or Christine Flynn.
