Biography
My name is Sharon Champion, I am a 59 year old English Artist who has lived in the Côtes d'Armor since 2005. I studied sculpture and drawing between 1976 and 1978 at the Hastings art school in England. Subsequently, I worked with a great master of English pottery, Michael Crosby Jones, who allowed me to discover ceramic art. Ceramic art is a small part of my life, but drawing and painting are a big part. My paintings are often inspired by my childhood memories which are special to me. I work with oil paint because I like to mix colors and I love the textures it gives. While in England, I had the chance to work for companies like Estée Lauder or Shell BP, but also, I exhibited alongside Stella McCartney in an art gallery. My work is sold all over the world. Today I live and work in France, so I focus more on the exhibition here.
