Biography
Anne-Laure Sacriste is a painter, engraver and drawer. Nourished by cinematographic references, each of her works is a door to an elsewhere where desires, anxieties, fantasies are hidden: the spectator has to invent his own story. His interior scenes are only a pretext to question what is hidden on the other side of the walls when his landscapes offer no possible escape, his characters are superimposed without being able to say who is real and who is image, who is depth, who is surface. With a leitmotiv: always look further for the trace of mystery.
