Biography
Alexandre Nicolas is a French artist, born in 1970, Toulouse in France where he still lives but works between Paris, Limoges and Toulouse.
In his artistic approach, he finds resin as the perfect medium to convey his feelings and uses crystal to create figures and floats them in resin, as if they stood still through time, he is influenced by pop culture. Alexandre Nicolas uses symbols which question the spectator on his imaginations and fantasies, providing a critical approach, between humor and sarcasm.
His work was exhibited during several exhibitions around th world, especially during the « Hey ! modern art & pop culture » at Halle Saint Pierre in Paris and the International Ink Art Biennial in Shenzen at the Shenzen Fine Art Institute in China.
