Biography
Horseman and farrier for 25 years, Emmanuel Kieffer dedicated his life to the horse at a very young age. The love for this animal and his passion for blacksmithing, naturally led him to sculpture.
Today, the hammer, the anvil and the fire where the same passion still burns, allow him to express through a rough-looking material, the movement, the grace and the lightness, of the one who became his model.
He produced works of modest size, as well as monumental sculptures, some of which were acquired, by the cities of SAUMUR (49), TARBES (65) and CORDEMAIS (44), but also by personalities from the equestrian world, such as His Highness the Aga Khan and the owner-trainer of the famous TIMOKO trotter.
