Biography
Betty Meissonnier was born in Marseille in 1973. She holds two degrees from ENSBA in Marseille.
Betty Meissonnier joins forces with other artists and sets up numerous collective artistic projects in atypical places.
She works with different supports, different materials, put at the service of an ironic and distanced iconography where the message and humor have become a vocabulary.
Old cross-stitch tapestries serve as a support to offer us anachronistic, funny and quirky messages.
His work presents as many metaphors as it does multiple situations of existence.
