Ona Sadkowsky

Ona Sadkowsky (born 1992) paints colourful characters with unselfconscious freshness. She began by drawing simple comics, usually poking fun at conventional morality in their content, but then moved on to painting her creations in acrylics. Her idiosyncratic figures, constructed in bold colours with few brush strokes, produce narratives on topical themes. Her works are brought to life by their radical reduction, combined with the cheeky expression inherent in the figures. In this way, Ona Sadkowsky manages to give free rein to her feelings and thoughts on canvas.
