Biography
The American artist, Nathan Carter, based in Brooklyn, is known for his colourful two-dimensional and three-dimensional sculptures. He uses Plexiglas, wire, enamel, paper, acetate and wood, as well as salvaged materials, in the style of Alexander Calder’s hanging mobiles. The abstract, imperfect, and sometimes childish designs sway in the air, experimenting with balance, peaceful yet chaotic.
