Biografía

Formada en la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes de Dijon, Sophie Hors aprendió a pensar en el espacio, la luz y el color. Tras una carrera como diseñadora de interiores, se dedicó por completo a la pintura. Inspirada por la vibración de la luz, captura momentos cotidianos para revelar su poesía oculta. Expone en galerías parisinas, reivindicando la singularidad de su visión. A través de sus primeros planos, sus vívidos contrastes y el juego de sombras de colores, reinventa paisajes y escenas de la vida cotidiana en luminosas composiciones.

Sophie Hors también trabaja con la técnica del collage; le gusta buscar patrones combinando papeles y a veces telas.

Se inspira en las pinturas de los pintores fauvistas y en la paleta del pintor catalán Joaquim Sorolla. Tras formarse en ilustración en la Escuela de Artes Aplicadas Estienne de París, también encuentra inspiración en los libros infantiles.
