Cyril Simon was born in 1978, nicknamed 2flui, is a fan of alphabet letters, especially when these are under the form of graffiti on unusual walls.

He wanders on Parisian streets, to gaze upon the various graffiti, in order to nourish his creation. 1990 is an important date, as it was when his artistic career began. 2flui says he "tortures" the letters which are already written on the walls, he comes across. From torture to finesse, the artists forges a link with the letters through meticulous calligraphy. He has a big thirst for creation, he looks for the perfect form (tag), the one which doesn't exist but which nourishes his infinite research. He approaches the ideal form, by combining different metallic tools, cardboard...The title of his calligraphy, crystallizes questions which underpin his strokes: "brutality, oppression, where is the world headed?, crazy". Finesse and subtlety manage to translate the strength of his emotions. Hurtful and finesse make one.
