"Coast" is a captivating oil painting that transports the viewer to a tranquil coastal scene, where nature's beauty and the human connection with the sea harmoniously converge. The focal point of the composition rests upon a weathered brown boat nestled upon the sandy shore. Its wooden planks bear the marks of time and tides, telling a tale of countless voyages and adventures. The boat sits as a silent witness to the ebb and flow of life, a sturdy vessel that has borne witness to the secrets of the sea. Upon the boat's stern, an enigmatic figure is perched. This unclothed man, his back turned to the viewer, becomes an embodiment of contemplation and vulnerability. His posture exudes a sense of introspection, as he gazes out towards the boundless horizon with a mix of wonder and reflection. The absence of clothing renders him stripped of societal pretenses, presenting a raw and unguarded connection between the human spirit and the vast expansion of the ocean. Presentation
Born in 1953 in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine.
1965–1969: Studied at an art school.
1968–1973: Studied at the Dnipro Art School, specializing in painting.
From 1978: Participated in republican, all-union, and international exhibitions.
1988: Became a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.
The artist's works can be seen in museums in Ukraine and abroad, including the Boston Museum of Social Art. Many of his pieces are in private collections in the USA, European countries, Turkey, and Israel.
Currently lives and works in Zaporizhzhia.
Anatoly Tarabanov works in the field of easel painting.
Tarabanov's art combines direct life impressions with meticulous work on form. The artist himself believes that the technique of painting needs to be perfected throughout life, constantly experimenting and introducing something new.
