"free words from evils"
Biography
Born in 1976 in Paris,
Just is best known for his vibrant and colorful canvases with raised writing, inspired by the world of graffiti.
Through his work, he plays with words in order to highlight the paradoxes of our consumerist and ambivalent societies. An alienation of the mind expressed in the misinterpretations, diversions and puns of the evils that the artist addresses.
He paints his verbal reflections and linguistic diversions in the form of striking hooks, like an advertising slogan. The colors, the relief and the contrasts thus contrast a hidden reality with a lying truth.
A graffiti atmosphere emerges from his work, based on its spontaneous, assertive and plastic aspect. A fragment of urbanity in its most lively protesting expressiveness.
Why do we remain blind to our societal paradoxes?
