Born in 1955 in Cameroon, Remy Haardt is a multifaceted painter.
Remy was only 20 when he created his own line of clothes, by opening several shops in the French capital. Later, he decided to leave Paris for Florida and refurbish homes.
It was only in 2014 that he joined a workshop grouping several artists, and decided to begin his own research and develop a pictorial style. He created a whole new creation process, making his own canvas with water and paper pulp. This allows the canvas to evolve with time, reacting to temperature and the intensity of light.
Entrepreneur at heart, he opened his own gallery at Saint Germain des Près, he exhibits his own works but also of other artists. This new activity allows him to meet international artists and various other influences.
