Biography
Glass designers, but also ceramists and sculptors, we design and produce large sets for Historical Monuments, heritage sites and interior decoration. First sculptors, we also work with bronze, stone, wood, and composite materials. Each creation is first of all a formal response to an internal request, or external in the case of orders. It is the form of the work, but also its destination, which imposes the obviousness of its material. It was on the occasion of an order on the theme of the angel, for the Cloître des Billettes in Paris, in 1999, that we encountered glass: it then appeared to us that only this material could account for the nature, by essence immaterial and luminous, of the figure of the angel. We have developed a whole creation around glass by pursuing a plastic work based on more traditional materials. Our works are regularly published by Daum, as part of Éditions d'Art. Natacha Mondon is a laureate of the Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet Foundation for vocation.
