Jeanne Figueras is a Franco-Spanish artist, born in 1950 in Arcachon, she lives between her homeland and Paris. She graduated from the Beaux Arts School in Bordeaux, and then studied Modern languages at Université de Bordeaux.
She had put aside her artistic production for a while and now has sincerely taken this up with pencils and brushes, and has embarked upon a visual artistic search. Jeanne Figueras tried out many techniques and mediums, and today she gives priority to painting on glass, pastels and drawing.
Her work highlights the intensity of the being, the one who plays around and the goings-on. She reveals poetry, capturing fleeting beauty, moreover she questions hints and tries to be a part of the mystery, this is all part of her creative need. Each one of her series is a celebration of the world that surrounds us, but which imperceptibly hints preoccupation for the future.
Her work has been exhibited several times, especially in Athens and Monaco.
