If I try, in my paintings, to play with the materials, the gesture and to summon even the chance, I have on the other hand an extreme need to give to those who look at my drawings an emotion as close as possible to that which m ' stopped me on the site.
This is how I agreed to give up a virtuosity which, however, earned me flattering praise to better erase myself in front of the subject. I owe this lesson and salutary resolution to Albrecht Dürer, for whom each feature is indispensable (even though his drawings often include several thousand).
