Biography
Caroline Crozat was born in Paris in 1968, has lived for a long time in eastern France and now lives and works in Brittany.
His childhood was rocked by the African fantasy, the country where his uncle lived. Very early on, she draws. A lot. Everything, all the time: she explores.
It was at the Beaux-Arts in Metz that she began to paint very large formats on advertising posters, placing her in the movement of Free Figuration in the 90s.
She is a Neo-Expressionist.
Everything becoming code over time, it doesn't give a damn about being "of this or that", maintaining its course against all odds ...
Reconstruction of the proper figure of the "real", figure digested, absorbed and restored. She applies herself to never knowing in advance what will happen on the canvas or the drawing.
This is the adventure.
Her career is atypical and bulimic since she has mainly lived from music, while drawing and painting. She is also a writer and singer-songwriter, loving cultural diversity.
