Biography
Going beyond aesthetic questions, Pauline seeks a profound engagement with the public. Poetry plays a central role in her work which is often participative to the point of turning the viewer into an actor. In the context of video installations, the artist's words and gestures create a dialogue with the surrounding environment as well as the public. This interaction becomes the dominant force of her work, reminding us that alone, without the dynamics of nature, we are nothing. She sets the scene and allows magic to emerge.
