Born in 1930, hospitalized in 2009 at Charles Foix d'Ivry hospital in a "long-stay geriatric ward" and died in 2015, Bernard Faucheur painted, drew, and composed song-lyrics and music - in the room that he was sharing with another "patient".
In an institutional universe where everything is necessarily balanced and controlled, and strong in an irreducible inability to submission and dependence, Bernard Faucheur resists.
