Roads, I love you
For 24 years I have walked with my 2 successive bitches, I have walked your trails every day.
In all weathers, in all seasons,
I saw, looked, admired
The big trees, these giants
Who are like sentinels
All along my steps.
I admired their quivering leaves in the spring,
Their fullness in summer,
Their multiple colors in autumn,
Their majesty in winter.
How can I resist the urge to translate on paper, with the means that are mine, the feelings of strength and beauty that nature offers us without restriction.
