Biography

Jean-Luc Negro – French visual artist born in August 1963 in Toulouse (France).

Since his earliest youth, he has never stopped designing, drawing, making... his toys to begin with. Then various decorative objects.

After training in architecture, without ever completely abandoning the graphic and plastic arts, he trained in CAD and 3D to design and draw a number of construction projects for various architects and real estate developers.

Then a number of years ago, the temptation to embark on artistic creation being too great, he decided to devote himself entirely to it. Self-taught, it is then mainly steel, which will be his favorite material and the fruit of his inspiration. It is he who guides him in his search for plasticity and aesthetics, in a resolutely modern style with contemporary accents.

"Thinking, drawing, designing... and finally realizing...

Seeking harmony between shapes and materials...

Listen to what she tells me when I work on her...

This is what drives me.

Steel; one of my favorite subjects."
