Tamaz Avaliani is the only graphic artist in the world who creates masterpieces with a black ballpoint pen by the unique author’s technique.
He is considered to be a recognised master in the art of using a black ballpoint pen.
The profound essence of his pictures and perspicacity of the artist’s vision delight and fascinate the audience, but they do get shocked when they find out what the pictures are drawn with. Tamaz Avaliani has been using and continuously improving his author’s drawing technique with a black ballpoint pen for 20 years.
The artist himself has brought the black colour to perfection, and he uses a ballpoint pen in such a manner that the audience forget they are looking at the black and white picture, and all shadows transform into the multi-coloured saturated image in their head.
