Gà bor Arion Kudà sz is a Hungarian photographer who lives in Budapest. He received the Jozsef Pécsi scholarship in 2004, 2007 and in 2011. In 2013, He became professor at the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design.
His work oscillates between documentary and artistic photographs. Gà bor Arion Kudà sz has studied for a long time the urban world, industrialization and its landscapes and the ecological problems of today's economical system. In his meticulous analysis, he focuses on man, the relatioships that he holds with his peers and on the way he interacts with his environment.
The Hungarian artist prefers doing his photographs in black and white, and plays with ease with the lines and shapes that compose his images.
Gà bor Arion Kudà sz has been awarded several times for his work. He received the "Marciusi Lfjak" Award in 2010, issued by the Republic of Hungary, and the Robert Capa Grand prize in 2015. The same year, he was finalist at the Leopold Bloom Art Award, whose goal is to promote and support Hungarian contemporary artists.
