Evgeniya Kapatskaya

Evgeniya Kapatskaya is a Russian artist from a small village in the Bryansk region. Was born on July 4, 1991.  The craving for painting arose in early childhood, but there was no art school in the village, so she began to learn the basics only in high school when She was able to go to classes in a neighboring city. At the age of 16, Evgeniya moved to Moscow, where 5 years later she graduated with an honors degree in Fashion and Design. But Fashion and Design were not what she looks for. Before finding her vocation and fully devoting herself to painting, she also worked as a customer service manager, a fashion designer, and a dance teacher.  

The artist's favorite material is oil, for its flexibility, pliability, and ability to play with color. Her paintings can be divided into categories: images of nature and paintings in the style of surrealism. She also likes to depict windows, because they are "the eyes of the house and through them you can see its soul." Evgeniya is inspired by nature and the cosmos. She loves to notice details and observes magic in them, memorizes and depicts her dreams.  

For about 10 years, She has been interested in the study of esoteric practice and various traditions of the world. As well as the study of symbolism and interpretation of dreams. Evgenia creates paintings in a state of deep emotional immersion in the inner cosmos. The meaning of the picture and the presence of symbols are both important for her. After studying theta-hilling, the artist began to paint pictures that she "sees" in the theta state. She believes that her paintings heal by carrying positive vibrations. The artist dreams of opening her own school, where spirituality and painting will be combined.
