Biography
Born in Madrid in 1985, Teresa Solar is a multimedia visual artist, specializing principally in large-format sculpture installations which incorporate both organic and industrially produced materials. Her work explores the liminal relationship between the tangible and mythical, as well as fictional reworkings of historical events. The artist currently lives and works in Madrid, Spain.
The artist’s work has been showcased at several exhibitions across Europe and the globe. In 2021 she took part in the Liverpool Biennial, and she was part of the 59th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, in 2022, “The Milk of Dreams.”
