Biography
Manuel Faura was born in Barcelona in 1969.
His work is a combination of sculptures and paintings. His geometric creations are carved in wood with great precision and then decorated with bright colors. They give us the impression of a perfect perspective.
The artist says he gets inspired by architecture, fashion, interior design, comic strips and art. His symmetrical creations must, according to him "Balance his senses, because it can not be any other way- they invite the observer to decompose them, by giving them a sense and create a dialogue with him".
Manuel Faura was selected to participate at the Feria Ci Contemporary Istanbul in 2015.
In 2016, he did his first solo exhibitions, which he called " Red, Blue, Yellow and Green" at the Gallery Contrast of Barcelona.
