Esther Hess (1919-2016) is Swiss and settles in France in 1954. She belongs to the Swizerland Post War Ecole de Paris.

The artist belongs to the Swiss Selection of Art Olympiads organized by Lise Cormery Gallery for the French Olympic Comitee in 1991 and 1992 in Paris. It was following the famous 1988 Art Olympiads in Seoul with its sculpture and painting museums created for the event in order to invite and show the art of major international artists of the century.
