Biography
Painter, mosaicist, sculptor. Born in La Chaux-de-Fonds, died in La Valette-du-Var (France). After attending the Art School of La Chaux-de-Fonds from 1932 to 1935, the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich from 1935 to 1936 and the Munich Academy in 1936.
In 1937 he went to Paris where he worked in various academies (Grande-Chaumière, Colarossi, Montmartre). In 1939, Baillods returned to Switzerland where he painted several religiously inspired compositions.
