Biography

Edi APOSTU offers high quality art for collectors and connoisseurs.

Edi APOSTU is the initiator of the concept of "holotropic art" based on the idea of "self-discovery" through introspection.

Doctor of Philosophy, follower of Zen philosophy, connoisseur of Chan philosophical systems, Tibetan Buddhism and Hinduism, Edi APOSTU builds his pictorial and poetic space by relying on the archetypal structures of macro-universal Cosmogony.

Edi APOSTU transforms the immeasurable Time into an infinite Spiral of endless illusions in which the immortal soul is inked, and which is dressed by various forms in the perennial transmigration to which it is subject. The discontinuity of consciousness between existences then appears as a result of the ignorance of the Ego, and the artist seeks to reconstitute in his creations the primordial elements of an ideal Cosmos, loaded with symbols and universal archetypes, signs that make the soul resonate with various planes of the Universe, visible or invisible, angelic or terrifying. Edi APOSTU's works are images resulting from resonance with visible or invisible areas of Creation, doors open to parallel worlds.

Interested in the infinity of Time and of physical and metaphysical Space, the artist, by the harmonious combination of plane shapes with 3D shapes, decomposes with a magical mastery of temporal spaces to reconstruct them in timeless dimensions, to constitute unimaginable spaces and plans, unveiling and offering viewers new visions of permanent and infinite Creation.

The theme arises from a philosophical system specific to the artist, which adheres to the theory of metempsychosis, considering that the transmigration of the soul can take place not only from one level to another (whether it is act from the physical or astral plane and only at the level of the Earth), but that it would also be able to pass from one planetary system to another. The artist considers that the soul can, after the death that occurs in the physical plane, transgress the limits of the physical and temporary space of the Earth and find itself embodied in a new physical body on a completely different planet of the Earth. 'Universe, thus suggesting the concept of interplanetary transmigration.

Edi APOSTU offers people who are still looking for authentic and high-quality art a new vision in this field, and offers the public holotropic art, pictorial works full of refinement, melody and plastic poetry, in which the viewer can transcend the limits of everyday life to project yourself to a higher level of perception of reality.

Edi APOSTU prompts the viewer to explore new timeless and a-spatial dimensions, his pictorial work opening perspectives towards new virtual-sensitive horizons.

"Holotropic art is the art resulting from the transpersonal experience which can bring the viewer into a state of superconsciousness."

"All of my artistic creation, be it painting, graphic art or poetry, is filled with symbols and universal archetypes. Even though most of my works are abstract, they convey messages. subtle and have as a source of inspiration the Universal Source from which comes the information which materializes physically in my creations.

I consider that the work that I do artistically is in equal measure a means of improving myself from a spiritual point of view, since I try to answer the problems of an existential or metaphysical order and I believe that any artistic creation can answer these questions , because, in my opinion, any work of art must have a source of inspiration outside man.

I consider Art to be the most fascinating manifestation of the creative Divine Spirit in the earth plane and that it is the link between the limited-ephemeral condition and the infinite-eternal Divine condition. "
