Artist Statement:

A Seattle-area Artist, I work with resin, surfboard crafting pigments, and a blow torch to create resin paintings that have an incredible depth to them and a high-gloss finish on par with glass. I chose to work with resin because I'm eternally in awe of not just the beauty that exists in nature but the laws that govern that beauty. The same laws that captivate us with a sprawling sunset (something quite large, also beguile us with the magnificence of a nebula (something mind-boggling huge) or with the inner structure of the cells in a leaf (something quite small). There is a beauty that belies itself as chaos all around us. I work in resin for this very reason.

Education:

Although born and raised in Arizona, I have lived in multiple countries in Asia, Central and South America, and Europe. Along the way, as I was exposed to a myriad of artistic styles and experiences, I developed my own style by experimenting over that last 15 years, arriving at my current style primarily focused on resin. My artwork has been sold throughout the world because of that unique styling.

Exhibitions:

Sold worldwide from Seattle to Sydney.

Some of my work is being auctioned off at the Seattle Aquarium Splash Gala in April.

I will be showcasing at the Gig Harbor Art Fair in July 2019 as well as the world famous beautiful Bainbridge Library for the entire month of June 2020.

Artistic Influences:

Pour painting and liquid flow artist inspired my technique. It is a burgeoning art form that is gaining traction on social media and in niche circles.
