Thierry Le Gouès

Thierry Le Gouès was born in Brest, France, in 1964. He began his career in fashion photography in 1986, quickly collaborating with Condé Nast Italy on prestigious publications such as Vogue, L'Uomo Vogue, and Glamour. His talent led him to work with internationally renowned magazines, including Vogue Hommes International, Harper's Bazaar, Allure, Interview, and many others.

Le Gouès creates advertising campaigns and fashion shoots for high-fashion brands and houses such as Replay, Nike, Levi's, Boucheron, Hermès, Lavazza, Le Printemps, Yves Saint Laurent, Paco Rabanne, Pascale Bruni, Swatch, Antik Batik, Zadig et Voltaire, Marie Claire, and Moschino. His work is also published in influential magazines such as Arena, I.D, The Face, and Numéro Italie.

Thierry Le Gouès is one of the founders of “French - Revue de Modes" magazine. He divides his time between Paris and New York, the two epicenters of world fashion.

Le Gouès is not only a fashion photographer; he is also recognized for his artistic talent. His work “Soul" is inspired by Black Africa, presenting the female nude as a sculpture of ebony and light. His first book, “Popular", offers a new vision of Cuba and is available on Amazon.

In the '90s, Thierry Le Gouès created some of fashion's most iconic looks, photographing with an experimentation and innovation that propelled him to stardom. His work for European fashion magazine behemoths such as Condé Nast and Fairchild, as well as his collaborations with British pioneers such as i-D and The Face, left their mark on the fashion industry.
