Biography
Henrik Jacob, born 1972 in Dresden, studied at the Hochschule für Kunst in Bremen and lives in Berlin.
He draws and collages thematically according to press photos and historical photographic material.
Using modelling clay, he transforms image details into three-dimensionality and thus brings them back into real space. The motifs become disconcertingly blurred. Only the fingerprints of the artist himself are clearly recognizable.
