Description

The artwork presented by the painter JFBrivaud is a spectacular fresco where earthy colors and abstract patterns blend harmoniously, plunging us deep into the mysteries of prehistoric art. The golden yellow background, subtly nuanced with touches of ochre and brown, recalls the warm light of ancient caves, creating an atmosphere of mystery and ancestrality. The animal silhouettes, probably felines - like moving shadows, are magnificent in their minimalist representation. They seem to rush forward, frozen in eternity, silent witnesses of bygone eras. Each black line, each contour is precise, almost primal, accentuating the majesty and strength of these creatures. Patterns of curved lines and spirals intertwine, adding a rhythmic dynamic to the whole, seeming to mimic the movements of animals or the flow of the wind. This play of textures and depths is reinforced by an effect of superposition and stratification, which gives the fresco an almost three-dimensional dimension. The artist achieves a tour de force here: capturing the raw and powerful essence of nature through a vision of simple but deeply evocative beauty. Each element of this composition, from the nuances of color to the contours of the forms, is executed with a precision and intention that holds the attention and invites deeper exploration.

Presentation

I was born in 1965 in Castres in the Tarn, I have Spanish origins, from an Andalusian grandfather and grandmother from the north of Spain.

I drew and discovered painting from a very young age, fascinated of course by Picasso's creative freedom.

My painting and my approach are driven by the freedom of the 70s, the works of Andy Warhol, action painting which I sometimes share in public, psychedelia and Lyrical abstraction.

It was finally in 2008, following the meeting with Nathalie Condou, that Michel Sammarcelli, Mayor of Lège Cap-Ferret, gave me the opportunity to exhibit my painting on the Arcachon Basin at Canon.

In 2012 I exhibited at the Marché de Lerme in Bordeaux on the theme "Journey to the land of color".

In 2016, the exhibition "The Seventh Color" organized at the Espace Mably in Bordeaux, marks a major evolution towards Lyrical Abstraction.

In 2017, the "Psychédélique" exhibition organized in Andernos at the Louis David house and then at Cap-Ferret, will be a tribute to the creative freedom of the 70s put into perspective with the current era.

My painting expresses freedom, vital energy, the perfection of color and forms.

Spiritual research is an integral part of my artistic approach, each painting is in itself a creative research with the aim of better understanding what art is, what makes us the witnesses and actors of a universal creation, which fascinates us and questions us about ourselves.
