Nef

Nef, born in 1977, lives and works in France.

Trained and graduated from the Beaux-Arts of Lyon with honors.

She has been drawing since childhood. A multidisciplinary artist, she experiments with video installations and her creation with the Nef&bze© graphic studio (focused on electronic music).

These poetic works deal with questions about Man and his environment, his emotions and feelings through cosmic universes or inspired by nature.

The artist NEF transports us into a world of softness and surrealism through different series of contemporary pop portraits. Each of his works is a bold fusion of bright colors and subtle details, or an investigation into chiaroscuro in black and white, creating a unique aesthetic. His faces defy conventions, inviting the viewer to explore the depths of the human soul while capturing the essence of contemporary art.

She enjoys revealing absurdities, the grotesque or contemporary disenchantment, through portraits with playful looks and often evocative titles. Nef is a sensitive and sincere artist who likes to mix techniques and media: experimentation and evolution are part of her approach.
