Mickey Jampijinpa Singleton

Born in 1950 - Australia

Mickey Jampijinpa Singleton is an Australian aboriginal painter born in 1950 in Mount Doreen, southeast of the Northern Territory in Australia. Today, he lives and works in Yuendumu, a community of artists located 300 km from Alice Springs.

The style of Mickey Jampijinpa Singleton is inspired by traditional aboriginal iconography including its circular and straight motifs representing the "Ngawarra" (flood waters).

He has exhibited his work at the Australian Art Gallery Trib'Art in Lyon (France).
