Ruben Brulat is a French performing artist and photographer. During the last five years he has focused his attention on the relationship between the human body and nature, exploring the limits of this duality. His photographs are made using a large format camera during performances in solitary landscapes. Since 2015 his attention has shift to the volcanic areas through a series of travels to Ethiopia and Indonesia. His practice has expanded further including canvases realised during his performances as well as sculptures.
