Evrard Thierry was born in Nancy in 1959. He lives and works in the Provence region since 2001. He studied architecture at the Beaux-Arts in Nancy.
His work was exhibited in numerous shows and was included in numerous collections. At th beginning of his career, Evrard Thierry used to reinterpret portraits by great masters, but the invention of a new language the last years, the "stries-art" (which can be translated as "streak-art") brings his work into modernity.
