Born in 1971, Carole Melmoux is a French painter. She was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Danse in Paris in the class of Christiane Vaussard, she entered the Sorbonne where she obtained a master's degree in Modern Letters and followed the teaching of the painter Philippe Lejeune for 10 years. Carole Melmoux shows an interest in painting on the motif, the real to which she mixes her memories and her imagination.
Movement and fluidity are two essential notions in his pictorial representations. A more or less pronounced musical touch emerges from her works, but also a certain poetry that she derives from her studies of literature. Her painting can be presented as the fusion of these three arts: music, dance and poetry.
