Biography
Frédéric Heurlier-Cimolai is a painter born in Germany in 1963. He lives and works in Montreuil. He combines abstraction, dreams and minimalism. He is elegantly able to harmonize colors and make his creations graceful and aesthetically pleasing. The artist draws "random outlines, surely ancestral, dreamy forms; inserted in a network of lines. Just like when we observe clouds, we make up forms and do this quickly before they disappear in case we were to give up". Frédéric Heurlier-Cimolai has done solo exhibitions in Hossegor. He has contributed to major architectural renovations: the Paris Comic Opera, the Ashby Studio in London, Château de Versailles - the Royal Opera, Meurice Hotel, Toulouse Capitol Theater...He also created permanent stage designs at Musée de la Chasse and the Cité de la Musique in Paris, Futuroscope in Poitiers, Luxembourg Museum..His many legendary restorations are part of the national heritage and have lead to temporary exhibitions, especially with the Galliera Museum in Paris , The Metropolitan Museum New York (Poiret exhibition) and for cinema art (Film Coco avant Chanel - A.
